How funny! Kids can now learn opposites in a playful and educational way with the help of two cricket cartoon characters. Of course at that age,  kids will already know the difference between a tidy room and a messy room, nevertheless it’s great fun for children to be able to mess up the room of Flip and Flop* (the two crickets) and to create a little bit of chaos.

*We named the two crickets Flip and Flop as we don’t know their real names.

Warm & Cold – Opposites everyone knows

Never mind though, cause by the time Flip and Flop are sitting in the bath tub, it doesn’t matter if kids are already familiar with the opposites “warm and cold”, everyone wants to play around with the temperature of the water to watch the reaction of the two crickets. All in all there are 13 such interactive scenes in this app, where two opposites are being presented.

Surprising navigation methods

Cricket Kids is fully taking advantage of the modern tablet and smartphone navigation and control possibilities. Not only do you tap, but also blow (blow out candles), roar (alarm clock) and shake (create a mess). The camera function will also get a chance to be used in two of the games, where children are being teleported into the happening. Whoever is pulling the shower curtains aside, will discover a mirror where kids will notice themselves in.

Additional Quiz

Each game will lead to a quiz, where kids get to test their memory skills. Due to the audio response, kids get to assign the correct term pairs, without having to be able to read.

We’re really happy about the fact that Cricket kids is a multilingual kids app. The app is therefore also available in: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish – awesome!

Cricket Kids: Opposites | kids app rating

Cricket kids is supposed to get extended to a whole series of kids apps and the debut of the opposites game was very successful. A lot of apps are a little stingy when it comes to animations – Cricket Kids however is not at all. There are many animations in cartoon quality to be admired in this app, which are a lot of fun for kids.
