Bambi: Disney Classics | kids storybook app
Today we’d like to introduce you to one of our favourite and most wonderful storybook apps : the interactive Disney Classics story app Bambi.
This story app is especially suitable for kids aged 4 years and over. The story of Bambi isn’t only being narrated wonderfully, there are also many other features and extras that can be found by children.
Before the story begins, the child can personalize the story book by inserting a photo of itself and typing in their name underneath, so the child can have it’s own precious storybook.
During the awesome interactive story, the kids can enjoy the beautiful and charming illustrations and be astonished about each page, as every page carries a different surprise animations and comes close to the actual Classic Disney movie. Whilst the story is being read, each word is highlighted, which helps kids with learning how to read and also with the pronunciation of each word. There are also soaring and delightful sound effects which bring a fresh atmosphere.
Besides getting carried away to the fantastic story app of Bambi and his friends, the kids can press on the storybook icon on the bottom left of a page, where they’ll find different options. They can either choose between the different pages of the storybook or press the puzzle icon to start either:
* An interactive colouring book – choose between 3 different pictures from the story (Bambi and mother, The owl, Bambi and his friend Thumper). There are many colours to choose from and the child can choose between pencils and a paintbrush. If the child makes a colouring mistake, the overdrawn lines can also be erased with the eraser. The finished pictures can be saved or sent as an e-mail.
* A matching game – matching the colourful flowers basically works like a memory game. When complete, the flowers turn into cute butterflies.
* Musical activity: meadow music – this is great and beautifully made. The children have 3 options to choose from. They can either listen to the composed and animated music, learn with the animation and sounds shown and repeat those, or play free, where the kids can freely explore the animations and listen to the sounds and music that is being played when being pressed.
The other two options are the settings – mainly for parents to choose between music, narration, sounds and arrows. The reading mode is adjustable – either being read to, read by yourself or even record your own reading!
The beloved story app of Bambi will thrill a new age generation of fans. The kids will witness how Bambi and his furry friends learn about life in the forest and also about it’s beauties.
