TinyMons Halloween Season | Single and Multiplayer kids app
✔ iPad app for kids | 1-4 players | Halloween game
Multiplayer apps for kids are still quite rare and we’re therefore especially thrilled to introduce you to a new iPad game, which can be played with up to four kids at once, or even with parents as a family.
TinyMons Halloween Season is perfect for the upcoming Halloween festivities, without being too scary.
Whether kids want to play in the single player mode or multiplayer mode, the screen is full of little cute monsters, mummies, devils, zombies and of course vampires. Before the game starts, the monsters are jumbled up, which means the mummy for example, is wearing Frankenstein’s head and the little devil has been equipped with Zombie’s legs. Each figure consists of 3 body parts: head, torso and legs. By jumbling all components of all figures, you get over 1700+ various possible combinations, according to the app developer – we didn’t count though.
Only one jumbled monster is put on the most wanted list and has to be found between the big swarm of creatures. In the single player mode you play against your own high-score and need to try and find more figures within a certain time limit.
In the multiplayer mode however, you basically have a little finger fight on the iPad screen, as all players look for the same monster in this big salad of monsters. Whoever finds the monster first, drags it to their colored corner of the screen and gets rewarded with a point.
This Halloween search game for the whole family is rounded off with a small monster encyclopedia, where the little monsters are not jumbled up for once, but are introduced to you with names. Wally Werewolf, Marvin Mummy and Dracoola say hi.
How the game works and looks in action, you can check out in our YouTube trailer below, where we start off in the single player mode and continue with a short multiplayer finger battle.
TinyMons Halloween Season kids app rating
The app really trains the attention, memory and responsiveness – not bad for a monster game, right? In the single player mode, the play-fun depends on how keen you are on high-scores. We’re kind of missing a few things such as: unlocking new levels, receiving rewards and new monsters.
The game unfolds it’s full potential in the multiplayer mode and is also suitable as a kids Halloween Party-game. Tip: place a bowl full of candy or other sweets next to the iPad out of which the winners can treat themselves with. Tip 2: The app’s introductory price is only $ 0.99.
