Let’s take a look at this very bright and colourful Spongebob kids app, which is available for the iPhone and iPad in HD quality!
Unfortunately, it is not a universal app and it is neither a suitable app for kids who fit into the actual target group.
This app is surely more difficult than it seems and kids will need to be able to read. Therefore, it is more suitable for kids aged 9+.

Spongebob’s Marble & Slides is more of a physics puzzle game, in which you need to roll the Spongebob and friends marble-shaped bodies through each level by drawing slides, using the environment and tilting your device.
To do this, you need to consider the natural gravitation and the physical features.
The marbles roll from top to bottom, unless they come across a fan which will blow the marble back to the top – this feature also belongs to the genre “physics”.

You basically manipulate the direction of the marbles by drawing the lines, which are marked as bright red lines.
This procedure comes close the the app “Where’s my water?” – where you need to sluice the marbles to the drain.

What we liked about this kids app

(+) Physics puzzles especially for kids are a rarity

All in all, it’s hard to say. We can’t really recommend this app to every Spongebob fan, but rather to physical-puzzle lovers, who have a lot of fun with this sort of gameplay.
Kids should also definitively be able to read for this kids app.
We are also a bit dissapointed about the fact, that there is absolutely no voice output throughout this app – especially as this app would profit from the essential spongebob jokes and their funny voices.
