Ever thought about Santa being the opposite from nice? Well, if little robots try to sabotage Christmas, Santa can surely become protective towards his presents and such, and get out his special Santa hammer.
Santa Hammer is a brand new iPad and iPhone arcade game for kids and adults, especially around the Christmas season.
There are no usual In-app purchases in this fun game, as we may know from other arcade games, the app developers deliberately left them out.
You basically move Santa left and right infront of a very nice Christmassy scenery and look out for any thieving robots that occur. A mysterious Professor Flick has emitted them to ruin Christmas, but we will surely take care of this and prevent this from happening. As soon as a robot comes near a present Santa slams his hammer.
It takes good timing and precise skills to keep all of the incoming robots away. If you’re not as quick as you think, the robots will roll off with the present they stole. As long as they haven’t left the screen, it’s not so bad. The present will get moved around quite often during this game.
You’re just not allowed to let them dissapear completely with the Christmas present, otherwise the game will be over.
Whilst you’re decimating robots, you’re also collecting lots of stars, with which you can unlock new levels and many other interesting extras. A special shop area for these extras has been arranged. You may think about in-app purchases when i say “shop”, however, there are non in this great game!
All extras can be unlocked for free. A huge praise goes out to the developer of this app, we love the fact that kids can freely use this shop and try out different features, extras, costumes and levels, which is obviously a lot of fun.
The graphics are bright and colourful, which match the sounds and arcade actions in this app.
Boxes get opened with a kick, invading planes get caught with a high jump in the air.
That way, Santa hammer is definitely a nice change and refreshing arcade game, with nice christmassy scenes for children. It’s a somewhat different game compared to the other, rather contemplative christmas apps for kids.
The price of $ 0.99 is a real bargain, filled with fun and entertainment in a Christmas app.
