Sago Mini Forest Flyer | interactive toddlers app with the cute little Robin
Sago Mini Forest Flyer is an app for toddlers, whose panoramic landscape is spread out on about 8 (iPad) screen widths and 2 screen heights, where a tiny red birdy named Robin lives.
Kids have the opportunity to take the little birdy on a little journey around the forest and fly with him, making some new discoveries and going on a little adventure.
The navigation is fairly simple, basically kids use their finger to tap to the destination where the birdy should land or fly to next. Kids can also leave their finger on the display to fly the birdy around without any interruptions.
Along it’s journey, most stops are marked with a yellow star, others can be discovered whilst flying past. Robin loves to pick out the worms from the ground, eat some berries of the bushes, dance along to some music, he gets surprised by other animals and can also let some objects fall off the trees.
The little, funny animations are really worth seeing, even if they have been kept fairly simple.
There’s no text or speech output in this app, this toddlers app works completely without it. We would however, class Sago Mini Forest Flyer as an interactive picture book app, also because each individual animation tells their own little stories.
