Let’s face it, we don’t like spiders. We do however like Miss Spider. Meet the friendly and congenial Miss Spider in this wonderfully written and illustrated storybook app, who would never harm a fly or a bug. In addition to this great and outstanding picturebook, also comes a really good fully animated 3D CGI children’s movie.

This heartwarming story tells a tale of the kind Miss Spider, who would only like to host a tea party – but no little bug want’s to come and join her. The story is being told in modern and charming rhyming verses and can either be read out to you by an professional narrator or by yourself. If you don’t want the story read out to you, you can switch to the animated video and watch it as a little film.

Watch Miss Spider trying to find friends. Every day, the kind spider sets the table for a visitor but every bug is too scared to come close to her. One day she helps out a little moth who’s in danger and is extremely happy to be serving it a nice, warm cuppa tea. This kind deed spread around fast and from then onwards, she was known as the kindest and most friendliest spider of all.

At the top of the screen, you can find other fun and great options to choose from. You can choose between some fantastic games, puzzles and color-in pictures.
The story has some good music and sound effects, the interaction in the story is also fantastic – the children can touch the images and discover some great animations, whilst having the story read out to them.

The memory game has some very useful sound effect, which may be helpful for children to become even better at memorising the cards. We love this because children can orientate themselves on either the cards, or the sounds.

The color-in pictures are also brilliant. We like this especially, because the app has a helpful mode to keep the colors inside the lines.
That way the children don’t draw over the lines and the picture looks neat and tidy.

We also love the puzzles that come with the childrens app. Those come with either 6 or 12 pieces and are easy to solve.
