Miny Moe Car | garage and driving game-app for kids
Miny Moe car is a really nice iPad and iPhone car game-app for kids, where a small, orange car needs to be cleaned, refueled, repaired and driven.
If your kids are familiar with Toca Boca kids apps, they will most definitely find it easy to use this app for kids.
This kids app offers the following activities, which are all about the subject: “car garage”
Checking the headlights – changing light bulbs
Window reparation (just before you come across a football/soccer game, you get warned)
Even the little bird has developed some interest in the car, it’s morning toilet lands on the windscreen. That’s when kids will need to get the sponge out and wash it off.
Especially funny: a little hedgehog lives inside the garage, who also loves to puncture the tyres every now and again. The tyres are patched quite imaginatively, because kids can stick some plasters onto the tyres, whereas the tyre pump, which gets used afterwards, seems more realistic.
Besides the great garage activities, you also get play the mode: pull-back car, where kids can view their car from above and drive it on the streets. This game is a little bit boring and strange, as there are a lot of tree trunks and rocks lying in the middle of the road, which dissapear when it comes to a collision.
This doesn’t really make any sense. You should at least be able to clear the road first and then drive on to the road.
We prefer the propper, real driving-simulator, where kids sit inside the cockpit behind the steering wheel. Don’t expect too much, but not too little neither. This app has been undoubtedly designed for toddlers, but is still a lot of fun for my 5 year old daughter. You can turn the dash key, turn the radio on and change channels, accelerate, beep the horn, use the windscreen wipers, use the indicators and so on. We would have prefered a more diversified route, maybe with some possible turns etc.
Miny Moe Car is a typical kids app, to which we can find some suggestions for improvement and enhancements. But undeniably kids do play so magnificently with this app and Miny Moe Car is one of two apps we know, that actually use the car-driving-simulator for kids. This is also a reason why we want to give this app a 5 star rating.
