Make me smile | kids app with funny monsters & secret photos
“Make me smile” kids app will definitely make your children smile!
The main highlight has to be the hidden camera function, which will take a picture of you child’s face, just when it’s about to smile at it’s best. So what makes your children smile? Many, many fully and funny animated little monsters! These are either sad, angry or gloomy at first, but luckily, kids have the opportunity to cheer them up again by simply tapping on them a couple of times with their fingers, to make them smile and happy again. This is the moment, when the app takes several pictures of the friendly opponent and saves these in a photo album of the iPad.
Even without the secret camera function, we would recommend you this app for toddlers and preschool kids up to the ages of 4+ years, as these monsters offer enough entertainment and interactions in this app as it is.
The best thing has to be the value-for-money, as this app only costs $ 0.99 including all 21 (!) monsters, which are all unlocked too. This never used to be the case, as you will read in the iTunes description, that there used to be one in-app purchase, which was meant to unlock more monsters. This in-app purchase got removed and you will now find plenty of monsters in this app, therunder a fruit monster and a Santa monster, hohoho!
Kids will absolutely love this app and will start to really pull some funny faces along with the cute monsters, especially when they have found out that secret pictures have been taken of them, they kind of really start to put effort into it. Of course checking the photos is much more fun whilst doing it together with someone, and also saving the really good ones in the photo album. This is also a really good way to get some brilliant photos taken of your child, which you would have had to take by yourself, this way you really get a different perspective too and the photos are really unique! By the way, the monster which was shown whilst the picture was taken, is also shown on the bottom of the photograph, so kids will remember as to which monster they were laughing at.
This kids app has no outgoing links or any other annoying stuff like that. The parental area with the photo album is also secured with a child-safety function so all functions are protected. The app works perfectly well without the use of language, apart from the monsters making their own nosies or shouting “I’m happy” every now and again.
Make me smile is a kids app, which you should not only like but also have on your iPad. It is also perfect for visitors, as this app is not only great fun for kids, it is also hilarious to have some secret pictures taken of other family members or friends. It’s a shame really that this app is not available for the iPhone too. The position of the camera doesn’t always automatically catch the face, depending on the angle. If you really just want to use this app for photo purposes rather than entertainment for kids, than you should maybe prepare the iPad’s position beforehand to get better photos of your child. Until now, we managed to get some fab pictures taken with all of the monsters, which we have also saved.
As to how all this works in action, you may want to check the kids app video below. If you don’t fancy the 80’s sound, no worries, this is only for the video.
