The epic kids app “Land of the Magic Stones” is available for all devices (iPad, iPhone, Android and Kindle fire) and this is only the first good news. The second good news is: Your kids will be entertained and occupied for much longer as with other kids apps, because this app is way more comprehensive than others, as you will also see later on.

Land of the Magic Stone is a magical, fun and very educational adventure game, which plays and looks like an animated cartoon film.

The fun begins by creating your own profile and avatar (boy or girl!) where kids have the opportunity to dress their character. Afterwards they dive into the enchanted Kingdom, where a dragon has caused quite a mess. This is why it’s up to the children to get everything back in order, to expel the dragon and to help the Kingdom.

However, until all of this is done, the kids need to finish a lot of missions, of which a few we’ll introduce you to now.

Kids can construct their own machines in the workshop. Just like a tan-gram-puzzle, the shapes need to be placed on the right position to be fixed with nails and a hammer.

Kids will also have to deal with shapes in a different game. In the soap bubble game, kids will need to build a whole castle out of bubbles, which need to be blown up to the correct size first.

All games are thoroughly and friendly explained via audio response. This is also urgently needed, because all the games vary and have different navigations. If however, kids do get stuck at some point, the little bat will be there to help them out at any time.

It is simply amazing how many animations, voice recordings, sequences in between and games have been integrated in this app.

From it’s comprehension we’ll rate the app with 5 stars. The app as a whole, is worth 4 stars – also because kids, even with the help of the bat, still need extra help from us.

Even the graphics including the animations get 4 stars – not 5. The graphics are a little blurry in some places- which kids won’t really criticize, but we have noticed this. Also some animations are a little too rough for our liking (i.e. the dragon in the castle).

However, this small point deductions should not stop you from purchasing this app.
Even if the price of the app will be a little higher (also 4 stars for that), kids still have a lot of fun with Magic Stones and like the app, which is why we want to recommend you “Land of the Magic Stones”.
