Magic Coloring | a paint by numbers app for kids

Another awesome drawing app for kids to add to our Art and creativity category is “Magic Coloring”. Kids love painting by numbers and looking at it from the educational point of view, this drawing game is also very valuable. Colors and numbers can be practiced and there are also mathematical Addition tasks for school starters, which need to be solved.

Kids can freely choose whether to draw as they like, or classically draw by numbers or even solve the math questions whilst drawing if they want to improve or practice their mathematical knowledge. You can also enrich the drawing by numbers principal with simple addition problems, which is pretty cool.

This way, kids will need to solve the math problem first before knowing the correct color and number to paint their image in. This is great for practicing their mental arithmetics.
It also raises the sense of achievement, because the natural performance is higher. Small competitions with a stopwatch (not integrated) would also be a good idea. Who solves the math problem first and who is faster at painting a picture?

But even the classic painting by numbers is great fun and entertaining and the free-hand drawing mode is great for being creative.

Another special feature is the simplified paint-by-numbers mode, where children see a colored dot instead of numbers and therefore recognize the correct colors. This sets the starting age down and we can therefore recommend this app for kids of the ages 3+ yrs. Kids between the ages of 3-7 years will mainly have fun with this app.

By the way, the “magical tool” is eponymous for this kids app, as you can choose the rainbow color in the free-hand mode, which will suggest a beautiful color for the corresponding segment.

It remains in a non-binding proposal, of course you can still choose a different color or just don’t use this feature, but we find this feature very useful for small children. With this support, children from 2 years can even create color-perfect images.
The background music is very soothing  by the way and certainly doesn’t bother anyone.
