Little Lion
happy and friendly kids app games collection
We’ve always been quite fond of kids games collections, after all kids can be quite skittish and want to try out different things. This is exactly what they can do with this app. Little Lion is available for iPad and iPhone and includes 8 very different activities, which do have one thing in common: funny animated animals, which stretch out from puzzle games to extravagant music games.
We and the kids did have a couple of question marks to clear out the way though, until we warmed up with the Little Lion app, also as there are no audio responses or hints as to what to do next. Especially because a few activities are pretty unique and original, the words “trying out” is all we can say to that.
In the so called music game, kids will need to touch the animals at the right moment. If you’re not familiar with other musical games as such, you’ll probably don’t know what those rings around the animals mean, which are meant to set the pace.
Pretty original is also the swing game, where the animals can ride in one after the other and kids will need to push them. Tip: DON’T PRESS on the monkey hand button, you’ll need to drag it to the swing to add some extra power to swinging the swing. Those little things aren’t usually as obvious as they seem, but therefore a lot of things can be discovered in this game.
The game is generally big and has a lot of content to offer – the developers would like to present the kids app as a digital toy, where you can push the elephant on the swing and afterwards shoot some fireworks up in the sky, where the fireworks can be influenced by buckets of colors.
By the way, all games have a panoramic landscape through which you can navigate via swipe function.
Here’s an overview of further games
* The houses of the animals are puzzled in the puzzle game
* At the curtains of the theater, kids will experience an acoustic guessing game, which animal is hiding behind the curtains?
We even like the lite version of this kids app. Although only 8 out of 10 games are available, the swing and guessing game seem to be fine for getting to know the game, the characters and cute presentation for a start. Otherwise the full version only costs 1. 99$, which we can only recommend.
Feeding time – which animal eat what food? Perhaps the tiger likes the banana or does he rather prefer the steak? The animals will let the kids know what they like and when they don’t like the food.
