LEGO Friends Story Maker | free fun & creative girls app

Lego has been generous again and publishing another free app, this time however, a girls app for a change, the LEGO Friends Story Maker App. Whilst in the first LEGO Friends app for the iPad, kids were able to clothe the Lego girls, children can now create their own Lego photo books with the Story Maker App and save it in e-Books.

The range of stickers is huge and really stands out from it’s variety compared to the other three paid LEGO Sticker apps, that have already been available for quite some time. Those are:

* Lego Friends Ultimate Stickers
* Lego Minifigure Ultimate Stickers
* Lego Legends of Chima Ultimate Stickers

There are already quite a few story maker apps available for kids on the App Store, most of them are paid apps, some can only be unlocked via in-app purchases bit by bit. Well we can surely do without them now as Lego is offering a free and awesome alternative, which hardly leaves anything to be desired. With it’s big range and many functions, kids will need some time to get used to the app and it’s many possibilities, however, once they’ve examined everything thoroughly, nothing should stand in their way of creating and producing their very own e-book.

Younger children will already have plenty of fun with it’s many creative activity opportunities as such, which offers one single sticker-scene. If you want you can also use this app as a reference, to teach or illustrate children, that the further away the objects are, the smaller they need to be displayed. It is also really easy to scale the stickers to their right sizes.

Camera function

If you already possess some Lego Friends toys at home, you also have the opportunity to create and copy some interesting scenes with them and record those via camera function which can be saved to the e-book.

Our girls of our team have been waiting for an app like this, as they are big Lego Friends fans. Even without the app, we have to admit that we find the Lego friends series absolutely amazing and if one keeps treating parents with free kids apps, has truly deserved a bit of free app marketing. Definitely check out the Lego friends series out on amazon, where you may also get some bargains.
