iLuv Drawing Santa has been developed to help kids to learn how to draw and support them, by improving their drawing skills on the iPad and iPhone.

Although this kids app is free, all functions and colouring tools are available for the kids to freely experiment with.

We have tested many drawing and painting apps and the iLuv Drawing series is definitively one of the best drawing apps so far, especially when it comes to the natural drawing-feeling!
Drawing with iLuv Drawing Santa is nice and smooth, quick and rounds up nicely.
The vibrant colouring palette is great, it has a wide range of colours and 6 brush sizes to choose from. There are also 3 different outline sizes to choose from.

By the way: We mainly use this app without any audio response, you can deactivate the sound really easily in this app. Alternatively, you can listen to a very friendly drawing-instruction, which will explain each drawing procedure step by step.
We think that the drawing steps are self-explanatory and therefore not necessarily needed, although it is a very nice feature to have.

There are many Christmas pictures and holiday characters in this app for the kids to choose from.

Kids will learn how to draw Santa, a Reindeer (Rudolf), a Snowman and many more seasonal characters.

We are also keen on the free-drawing option, where kids can draw independently and aren’t necessarily bound to the learning by tracing option.

Designing your own Christmas cards

Kids are also able to design and make their own special christmas cards with this kids app. There are some beautiful seasonal backgrounds available to choose and experiment with. The finished cards and pictures can be shared with friends and family via e-mail.
