cooking game for kids | iPad app
Bamba Pizza, is a digital toy app for kids, where children can bake and design their own Pizzas and be their very own Pizza chef.
We are very keen on iPad cooking apps or food apps, as we see how fascinated kids are and get with those kind of apps on a daily basis.
Bamba Pizza is one of those apps, where kids can have a lot of fun with and use this app for pure enjoyment and entertainment. The app developers of this app even say that this app is one of “the best pizza making toys” for kids. Well, let’s take a closer look at this Pizza baking app and it’s content.
There are four different kind of customers visiting the Pizza Parlor, amongst some human guests is also a robot and a monster, waiting to be served. Kids will need to find out the different taste and relishes of their customers. Not every customer likes all of the different Pizza ingredients, which are available. After the Pizzas has been baked, it can be served and fed to the customers, only after they’ve been fed, kids will see their reaction and response to whether they liked it or not. This can be really fun and will surely bring some good laughs along with it.
The customers are just as strange and mysterious as the ingredients for the Pizzas, which are waiting for the little chefs.
We have: Cheese, Salami, Peppers and mushrooms, which don’t really seem to be weird or unusual at all.
Then we have: Chocolate cookies, fruit gums and strawberries, which does seem pretty weird now though.
All in all, there are 26 colorful and mixed Pizza ingredients for kids to choose from.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to take as many ingredients as you want, which is a shame, especially when it comes to cheese and onion rings, where you can’t use them as thick as you’d like to.
Bamba Pizza – the navigation of this kids app
Basically, kids will decorate their Pizzas in different step by step stages, bake them in the oven and then serve to feed to the customers. The navigation is really simple and easy for kids to understand. There might be a problem with picking the ingredients, as kids will scroll through all the different ingredients but when it comes to dragging the ingredient to the Pizza, it could be possible that this movement will not be recognised straight away. You really need to pull the ingredient down in a staight line, otherwise all other movements will count as scrolling. The app developers should really take some actions here.
Bamba Pizza | kids app review | rating
Our conclusion is, that we don’t know any better Pizza baking app for kids neither, which doesn’t mean that Bamba Pizza is perfect though. The music is a little annoying, the ingredients regularly get stuck and aren’t available in a sufficient quantity. So no need to rest on one’s oars!
