Art Class with Dr. Panda
creative crafting and fun kids app
I don’t think that we need to introduce anyone to the Dr. Panda apps anymore, as they are already pretty popular and well-known. We will however introduce you to the new Dr. Panda app called: Art Class with Dr. Panda, which has only just been released and caused a slight wave of enthusiasm around our kids of the team.
The price of the app for 0.99 $ is also very good.
The popular and well-known animals of the Dr. Panda apps will find themselves in an Art class this time, where they will mostly draw and perform some handicraft work. All activities, whether it’s painting or making some creative Artwork, kids will definitely have a lot of fun and mainly toddlers and kindergarten kids will enjoy themselves the most. Even young primary school kids will still enjoy playing this and other Dr. Panda apps, even if they are a little underchallenged with some of the tasks. Let’s take a closer look at the many different activities.
Perler ironing beads
Kids need to place the beads on the pegboard by following the given pattern. Basically, as soon as they grab a bead, a colored mark appears on the pegboard. As soon as the picture is completed, an iron comes up to finish off the creative craft – fun!
The pottery activity has really amazed us the most, because we are big fans of the great game “Pottery” and the pottery activity in this Dr. Panda app, is basically a small child-friendly version of this game. Kids have the opportunity to make and create some awesome clay jars, vases or pots out of one mass of clay, which needs to be shaped and spun at the pottery wheel. Once the vase or whatever is finished, it needs to be baked and painted. This is great fun and definitely justifies the purchase of this app already.
If you’re interested in more Pottery apps, why not take a closer look at the “Pottery app”.
Paper-Stars, Pinwheels and Kites
The next three activities are all about crafting and creating Art out of paper by folding, cutting and painting it. The outcomes are Pinwheels, Window pictures and Kites. We like the kite the most out of the three offered activities, which you can then leave to fly in a further mini-game.
Of course there aren’t only potatoes – but also fruits and vegetables which can be used to create some funny looking friends, by decorating them with a face and accessories. The funny part of this activity has to be the presentation of the figures, as they dance around the on the table until the kids choose one of them. The 3D graphic is clearly visible, which we will also see far more often in future Dr. Panda apps – so the app developers told us.
Art Class with Dr. Panda | app rating
The Dr. Panda app really hits our taste this time with their pottery, paper kite and veggie-figure games, but we also like the other activities and games a lot and think that they are all really well done. The value for money is awesome and the graphics are outstanding.
We can only recommend this app to you!
(+) Pottery almost like the high-priced app “Pottery”
(+) awesome graphics
(+) good value ($ 0.99) and no in-app purchases
(-) nonsensical: protected parents area but no protected outgoing links to other Dr. Panda apps
Top best apps for kids rating: 5 stars!
