Amazing Zoo is a refreshing picture book app for kids, which is not like other picture book apps where you turn over pages, but where you scroll you way through a big, gorgeous panoramic landscape, which looks really beautiful on the iPad.
Kids cannot only view the animals from afar, but also zoom in each animal to take a closer look.
Amazing Zoo is suitable for kids from the ages of 1 year+ really, as they’ll  have fun exploring and discovering the animals on the scenery.

Amazing Zoo has many different angles to view the animals in, which innovative melt into one another: hold your iPad horizontally and watch little adventures pass throught the panoramic view of the jungle.
If an animals is discovered, kids can start to interact with this animal in this view first.

Each animal offers an individual and diversified opportunity. The little monkey for example, stretches out his finger to you and copies/follows your finger movements.
The animalistic highlight of my daughter has to be the crocodile. A little bird jumps towards the scary, opening mouth of the crocodile via keystroke. Instead of harming the bird, the crocodile invites the bird to enter his mouth, where the bird is more than happy to be cleaning his teeth.

Now before we tell you more about this, we would like to tell you more about the vertical view. So, when kids come across animals whilst holding the iPad vertically (simply by turning the iPad around), they can look these animals straight into their eyes.
What makes this so special is, that this happens with a 3D effect, which happens without the need of any special 3D specs, just by simply moving the iDevice slowly so that the backgroung moves via tilt-function. This makes the discovery far more interesting and realistic for kids.

With every animal comes a little text, which are very funny and interesting for kids. This app is great for reading and looking at it together with mommies and daddies, either as a betime story or simply spending time together.  The graphics and illustrations are remarkable and really beautiful.
