Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland | best reviewed iPad & iPhone storybook apps for kids

Alice in Wonderland isn’t as much represented on iTunes, as often as other children’s storybook apps and tales are.
The Spanish publisher “itbook”, has published a fantastic and modern version of this children’s book, as an kids app. The illustrations are colourful and bright and in addition, the app is outstandingly interactive and animated, which makes the app almost seem like an interactive cartoon film.

The storybook app’s extraordinary multilingualism will most probably not be fully used, but most certainly deserves a big round of applause, for it’s big range of languages! The app has 11 different languages all together, including English! They also include, German, French, Spanish, Italian amongst others.

The width of the story is also pretty big and can definitely be seen: Alice in Wonderland is presented on 24 pages, which have all been differently and vibrantly presented, which means that there are interactivities and moving picture elements on every single page for kids to discover and play with. A storybook toy-app that will entertain your child to it’s fullest!

This storybook app is a superb children’s app which also has a brilliant extras area, where kids can play fun games such as, a game of memory cards, with many variable options (i.e. 2 player option) and a small game of finding differences, all with the pictures and illustrations of the story. This makes the storybook app stand out to other apps and really rounds things up nicely.

Alice’s adventures in Wonderland is a great storybook app for kids, with a huge multilingualism and many extras. We found the age recommendation of the app developers quite interesting, which was only 3-5 years of age. We find this pretty reluctant! Most of the time, app developers exaggerate with the age recommendations. We however, think that the app is not only intersting for kids up until the ages of 5, but is also still interesting for elder kids, especially with the many different languages that kids can still learn.
