Kids Canvas is a very special children’s app for drawing and crafting, where the drawing part in this app however, is done with ironing beads. We are big ironing beads fans ourselves and have fallen in love with this app straight away.
With Kids canvas you cannot only create some brilliant digital artworks, but you can also use your pictures as a template for when you want to create some real ironing beads crafts. With this app you can try out many different picture motives which can be quickly corrected in case kids go wrong. It is so comfortable and so much quicker and easier than in real life. All colours can be used as often as one likes and as many times as one likes, without having to sort them out first – amazing!

Kids Canvas knows many more drawing and crafting techniques! Kids can pick and choose between lots of different materials at any time, which are presented in small wooden boxes, very decoratively. In case you have already finished a picture, it will automatically change to whatever you chose to use next, that way, kids won’t need to start laying a new picture again by using and getting to know another material.

Besides the popular ironing beads, kids can also try out cross stitching, Mosaic tiles, square post-it’s, marbles, candy, crayon and paint splash. As a funny feature, kids can also try out bugs, which is great fun, as they start to crawl around after they’ve been placed on the board!

As this app is a kids app, you can also choose two animated colour palette’s, which colours rotate and dance on the finished picture.

We find this creative app for kids awesome! Kids Canvas has and still is being updated regularly, even if it is already brilliant enough as it is. Kids love it and also love the variety of materials they can try out!

This app gives children a chance to be endlessly creative, use their imagination, experiment with new materials and to be overwhelmed with new ideas. The finished pictures can be printed out and used as templates, it is also great fun to use the pictures in real and make your real ironing beads picture, just like you did on the iPad or iPhone.
